Officers are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary in Weymouth.

The burglary occurred between Thursday 8th and Monday 19th January, where entry was gained inside a block of flats in Mount Pleasant Avenue South.

A PlayStation 5, clothes, shoes and perfume have been stolen.

Police Constable Billy Taylor, of Weymouth and Portland police, said: “An investigation is underway and an examination of the scene has been carried out.

“I am appealing to anyone who has seen or heard suspicious activity in the area between the relevant time period to please come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260008615. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
