Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook has received his second England senior team call-up.
Three Lions’ boss Gareth Southgate named the squad this afternoon which will take on the Netherlands at Amsterdam ArenA on Friday 23rd March, and Italy at Wembley Stadium on the 27th.
Cook was first called up to the England senior side in November 2017, where he was an unused substitute in a 0-0 draw with Brazil.
The clash with the Netherlands could see Cook earn his first senior cap, and also take on Cherries’ teammate Nathan Ake, who has also been named in the latest Dutch squad.
Cook will become Bournemouth’s first player to feature for England’s senior side, should he feature in either of the two upcoming friendlies.
