The destruction of the explosion, on 4th August in Beirut Port, led to the loss of lives, loss of homes, loss of jobs and much more.
Despite the tragic events that were caused by this blast, the Lebanese people came together to help one another and the ones directly impacted.
Four months on, I spoke to a school teacher, Najwa Noueihed, in Lebanon about how this explosion is still affecting the lives of the citizens of Lebanon.
Najwa explains how people are still to this day helping each other for instance, cooking large quantities of food and giving it to those who need it.
