The body of Edward Reeves, 35, was discovered by Dorset Police at a property on Heath Road, Highcliffe, shortly before 8pm on 4 January, after receiving reports of concerns for the occupants well-being.
The two teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Winchester Crown Court for a hearing earlier today.
The defendants were told that a plea hearing will be held on 20 April, and a provisional date is set for a trial on 27 June.
Judge Angela Morris adjourned the case to be tried before a High Court judge at Winchester.
“Today both defendants will be remanded in custody. These matters will go over until April 20 for the plea and trial preparation hearing,” she said.
