Hollywood bowl in Poole undergoes ‘glamorous’ refurbishment

A popular bowling alley and entertainment centre in Poole has reopened after a £400,000 makeover.

Hollywood bowl in Poole Tower Park now features 24 revamped lanes and four state-of-the-art VIP areas. The new decor is inspired by Hollywood and features movie icons from past and present. This adds to the American theme which can also be seen in the diner and bar.

The refurbishment has been successful to the branch according to assistant managers Olivia Kemp and Kia May Watson.

“Especially on weekends we have seen a spike in the number of customers. We’ve been fully booked from 10 am to 10pm ” stated Olivia.

Kia said: “Were super excited about the refurbishment.”

She adds: “It’s made the place a lot nicer and really created an atmosphere which is super welcoming.”

The amusement area offers classic arcade games such as racing games and ice hockey. It is said to be a real favourite among customers.

Kia explains: “With all the new machines it’s a great place for families, date nights and work events.”
