A Man has appeared in court on arson charges after a fire in a flat in Boscombe.
Blake Colin Perren, 27, appeared before Poole magistrates on Saturday the 21st of January, Charged with: one count of arson with intent to endanger life, one count of arson whilst being reckless as to whether life was endangered and one count of possessing a class A drug.
As previously reported, Dorset police recieved a report at 1:42am on Friday, January 2oth of a fire at an address in Grosvenor Gardens, Boscombe. Officers attended alongside fire crew and ambulances.
Residents and neighbouring houses were evacuated.
Perren was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries – no one else was injured.
This case has been adjourned, with a plea and trial preperation hearing to be heard before Bournemouth crown Court on the 17th of February 2022.
