This is due to flooding problems on the road.
Delays of up to 20 minutes are thought to be expected as specialists are working to clear the flooding and due to the cold temperatures evening works on the lane were unable to be completed.
The lane has been closed for some time as it was first thought that a burst water main was the cause. However it is now thought that National Highways are now dealing with a broken drainage pipe.
The problems have been ongoing since the 17th of January and National Highways have advised that specialists are working around the clock to solve the disruption.
