An award-winning Seafood Festival in Weymouth will not be going ahead this year.
Last year the festival raised funds for the Fisherman’s Mission, who are sad to hear it will not be going ahead this year.
The Fisherman’s Mission a vital port of call for Fisherman and their charities.
The Seafeast organisers struggled with the rising costs, but managed to raise more than ninety thousand pounds for the Fisherman’s Mission charity.
Corporate Partnerships Manager Dean Lawrence said: “It’s not just the physical money that we get from attending these events, but the presence that we have and spreading the word and educating people as to what we do as a charity and how people can help.”
