A senior Palestinian source has anonymously claimed that Benjamin Netanyahu is sabotaging the ceasefire deal.
The source claims that Netanyahu is insisting, at the last minute, that Israeli soldiers held hostage by Hamas are to be released in the first phase of the agreement.
An Israeli diplomatic source insists that these claims are false.
The first phase of the deal currently outlines an exchange of 33 Israeli hostages for around 1,000 Palestinian Hostages.
As well as this exchange, Israel will withdraw troops from populated areas and allow humanitarian aid to flood in.
Negotiation teams claim that a deal between Hamas and Israel was hours away.
A final agreement, however, is yet to be reached.
