Professional wrestling corporation Behind Closed Doors put on a show at the Wareham Town Hall and the Redlands Centre over the weekend.
Each event had four matches with top professionals from all over the world which provided family-friendly, high-impact wrestling entertainment for the audience.
In total, there were eleven fighters on the card including Teen Tornado, who made his professional fighting debut. OVW Superstar and hit Netflix “WRESTLERS” star Crixus, also joined in on the action.
The build-up to the highly anticipated first exhibition in Wareham was dominated by the social media battle between lead trainer and BCD champion James Riley a.k.a “J Knox” and upcoming protege “Teen Tornado”.
“Teen Tornado” had his eyes set on the title held by “J Knox” and the war of words was well underway by the time the bell rang in the first match.
“J Knox” (James Riley) said: “We’ve had a good couple of shows and those that attended were really loud and encouraging as well as properly getting behind us fighters. Ourselves as fighters, enjoyed the whole experience, we worked really hard.”
He added: “We’ve got Ferndown Saturday the 25th January as well as Bridport Community Centre on the following Sunday. There will be title matches, a six man tag match for Bridport and we are all really looking forward to getting new and different talent in. Brandon Lee and Crixus again will be cashing in for his title shot at the Dorset Cup. There is lots going on and plenty to be excited about.”
With tickets are priced at £10 online and £15 on the door, both events are set to be ‘unmissable spectacles’.
