Bournemouth will be hosting Hythe & Dibden in the Wessex League Premier Division this Saturday as the Victoria Park side will be hoping to get back to winning ways.
The Poppies dropped to 13th after their 3-0 loss in the league away to Portland United before they bowed out of the Wessex League Cup on Tuesday night after their 7-0 defeat against Baffins Milton Rovers.
Hythe & Dibden travel to Victoria Park in good form as they are unbeaten in all competitions since August when they lost in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup against fellow Wessex League opposition, Laverstock & Ford.
Bournemouth’s Tuesday night match against Baffins saw their defensive issues continue despite a new-look backline which featured goalkeeper Noah Crisp and defender Jonny Davis as they conceded three goals in the opening 10 minutes.
Hythe’s league fixture against Downton was abandoned after an injury to Hythe’s Ethan Hartness.
Bournemouth will still be without right-back Hamza Tallal after his spell on the sideline through suspension and injury.
Tallal said: “Unfortunately I got injured a couple weeks back.
“I rolled my ankle; it’s something to do with a ligament.”
Tallal believes he can help the Poppies’ defence when he returns from injury as he hopes to be back in action next week against Wincanton Town.
Should the Poppies pick up all three points they could move up to 9th in the league table provided local rivals Christchurch fall to newly promoted New Milton Town.
