Bournemouth Rugby have made an unbeaten start to the 25/26 season after securing another victory at the weekend.
This increases their streak to 7 wins in a row to begin the year, in the Regional 2 South Central League.
The Lions began the season at home to Guildford with a thumping 50-0 win at the home of Bournemouth Rugby, Chapel Gate, before beating Chobham 14-12 away from home.
Bournemouth then rounded off a stellar September with a 20-0 win at home to Wimborne, leaving them joint-top with Winchester.
The Lions began October with a huge 42-24 win away to Twickenham, securing another bonus point victory to remain high in the league.
A 40-24 win at home to Old Tiffians granted the Lions another 5 points to keep them alongside Winchester at the top.
After Reeds Weybridge conceded in their game with Bournemouth last Saturday, the Lions retrieved another 5 points after being handed a walkover.
The Lions ended October with another win away to Petersfield at the weekend, applying more pressure onto Winchester.
Bournemouth sit 2 points behind Winchester in 2nd, with Winchester gaining more bonus points over the course of their games.
The Lions’ fine form carries on from their brilliant season last year.
Bournemouth won 17 games in a row from October 2024 through March 2025, but were still chasing Farnham for that top spot, who were unbeaten themselves all season.

Farnham secured the Regional 2 South Central title with a game to spare after beating Chobham with a bonus point victory.
This left them 6 points ahead of Bournemouth, making it impossible for them to catch up.
The club would be happy that their form is continuing into this season however, and they would be hoping it will be enough to get them over the line and promoted into Regional 1.
The Lions face Havant 2’s on 8th November, hoping to continue their fine form in pursuit of top spot.
