Cherries boss Andoni Iraola insists that keeping all his players happy would be “impossible” when it comes to his squad selection.
AFC Bournemouth are somewhat suffering from their own success, as players will have to be left out of the team to cater towards their in-form players.
The Cherries boss said: “I will have to leave some players out of the squad, but it is good because we are in a lovely place in that sense.”
He added: “We are in a good spot, Evanilson has been training most of the week with the team so he will make it difficult for me.”
19 year-old striker Eli Junior Kroupi has scored 4 goals in his last 3 games in a Bournemouth shirt, leaving Iraola with a tough decision to make as record signing Evanilson returns from injury.
When talking about this weekend’s opposition, Manchester City, Iraola said: “They are a very, very good team.
“They are still playing well, even against [Aston] Villa they played a very good game.”
Bournemouth will be hoping to keep an in-form Erling Haaland from scoring on Sunday, he has only scored once in six appearances against them.
When asked about the Norwegian striker, Iraola said: “I don’t really care about stopping Haaland from scoring, I will take it if he scores two and we score three.”
The Cherries travel to the Etihad on Sunday to face a Manchester City side who are having their worst start to a season in 5 years after picking up 16 points in 9 games.
