Poole Town have transformed their match-day experience this season after investing in a series of new media tools designed to improve fan engagement and raise the club’s profile.
The Southern League Premier South side has installed a new electronic scoreboard, an interactive tee-screen and have expanded its growing media team.
Club staff say the upgrades are already changing the way supporters experience games at the stadium.
Head of Media, Connor Hannon, said the changes have lifted the club’s professionalism both online and inside the ground.
Hannon said: “The scoreboard and screens give the whole place more credibility.
“It’s something fans instantly notice, and it helps us present ourselves like an a established club at this level.”
The media department has also grown this season, allowing Poole to produce highlight packages, interviews and behind-the-scenes features on a weekly basis.

Assistant media member Jacob Deighton said the improvement has been clear.
“We’ve added more people, we’re doing more filming, more commentary and more content on matchdays,” he said. “The feedback’s been immense — fans say there’s something new about Poole Town online every week.”
He added that the new equipment is also helping attract new supporters.
Deighton said: “We’ve already had people come to games because they’ve seen us online.
“The more goals, the more highlights, the more moments — it all helps bring people in.”
Behind the scenes, match-day staff have also noticed the difference.
Kit-man Matt Reeds said the upgrades have changed how players and supporters experience the game: “The players have become reliant on the scoreboard — if it’s not working, they’re straight away asking how many minutes have been played.
“At this level you rarely see anything like it. It makes us stand out.”
Reeds believes the improvements reflect the positive direction the club is heading in on and off the pitch.
Reeds said: “There’s a real buzz around the place that I’ve not known for a while.
“Everything feels more professional. The pitch looks the best it has in years and the whole match-day experience has improved.”
With Poole enjoying a strong start to their league campaign, staff believe the upgrades will continue to support the club’s momentum, on the pitch, online and in the community.
