AFC Bournemouth played out a 1-1 draw at the Amex Stadium on Monday night against Brighton & Hove Albion.
A Marcus Tavernier penalty and a spectacular overhead kick by Kostoulas tied the game level.
It was an impressive performance from the Cherries with the squad limited by injuries.
Andoni Iraola’s side have only one win in twelve games but the Bournemouth boss has been pleased by recent performances.
Here is how we rated the players:
Djorde Petrovic: 8/10
The Serbian goalkeeper made impressive saves to deny Brighton and help the Cherries fight off the increased pressure
Adrien Truffert: 7/10
The left-back had another solid game in a Cherries shirt and was able to deal with Yankuba Minteh when the Brighton forward was subbed on with fresh legs.
James Hill: 7/10
Hill’s fifth successive start for the team and the young centre-back impressed once again especially in a tough second half.
Marcos Senesi: 7/10
A solid display from Senesi who couldn’t do much to prevent Kostoulas’ overhead kick.
Alex Jimenez: 8/10
The Spaniard has excelled in recent matches and he showed his quality once again at Brighton. Jimenez kept Brighton star Mitoma quiet and was given the player of the match by Sky Sports.
Alex Scott: 7/10
Despite not having the ball for much of the second half, Scott did well to win the ball back and carry the ball out of danger; winning many fouls.
Lewis Cook: 7/10
Cook was a calm presence amongst the team who battled through the full 90 minutes having returned from injury recently.
Marcus Tavernier: 8/10
Tavernier was the main attacking threat for the Cherries; looking dangerous on the ball and quick on the counter-attack. Tavernier was likely to have continued however he was subbed off with a suspected hamstring issue.
Amine Adli: 7/10
Adli looked threatening in parts of the game and did well to win his side a penalty, beating Bart Verbruggen to the ball and being caught by the Dutchman
Eli Junior Kroupi: 7/10
A quiet game for Kroupi’s standards however the young Frenchman did get involved with the Cherries build up play with some impressive touches.
Evanilson: 7/10
The Brazilian played the full 90 minutes and looked exhausted at full-time. Evanilson was the Cherries only pressing option and received little of the ball in the second half but looked threatening in the first 45 minutes
