One of the world’s most famous steam locomotive trains, the Flying Scotsman, is coming to visit Swanage.
It will be using the heritage line for 20 days, from 22 March to 10 April and will spend 15 days on display at Corfe Castle station between 27 March and 10 April.
The Flying Scotsman’s last visit to Swanage Railway was in 1994. It was was the first steam locomotive to travel at 100 miles per hour.
The service was withdrawn in 1963.
