The BCHA’s Ignite initiative helps vulnerable people regain their self-belief and acquire the needed skills to get back into work. As a charity, the BCHA has been running for more than 50 years.

The Ignite program provides a range of self-development and well-being courses at the St. Swithun’s House in Bournemouth. It is available to people who are over 19 years old, that are unemployed or have lost their job. Ignite was started back in 2010 and has been running for nine consecutive years. Over the past decade it has run 217 courses to help and support people. People can participate in the program by contacting, the program manager, Jaime Clarke on 0120240500, or at jaimeclarke@bcha.org.uk.

About IvelinRashkov

I'm an aspiring Multimedia Journalism student, I come from a rather computing and economics related background as I studied those subjects in high school. Although my studies had nothing to do with writing, I somehow became passionate about it. To say that writing is a passion of mine would do it no justice. Writing became so much more than a passion, it became my way to leave a mark, make a difference and be remembered. I find all types of journalism interesting and remarkable but for me personally, I prefer entertainment journalism. One thing I also really enjoy writing about are philosophical topics that give you the opportunity to share your opinion and really immerse in the depts of the topic. I recently wrote an article for Nerve Magazine on the topic: "Creating a home away from home".
