Since being founded in 2000 the family run business has been holding WestBeach live every Thursday. Consisting of different singers performing every week while customers dine.
Paul Popa, a waiter of four years at WestBeach said: “We always try to get local people, because we try to make them well known as well. Its good for customers to hear someone who is actually local, they might actually know the person, or have heard them before singing.
Its also giving back to the community, in this way we kind of help them out somehow. Come sing here and get recognised better.”
I spoke to one of their musicians of the night, Alex Beds who explained he has been performing at WestBeach for ten years and performing as an artist for 16 years. He believes that having local live performers gives off “A nice community Spirit.”
