Anabolic Steroids – A Growing Problem

The number of teenagers and young men using anabolic steroids to increase their muscle mass and enhance their appearance has increased significantly over recent years. With images of lean, vascular, often unattainable physiques plastered over magazines and influencer’s social media channels it is no wonder that young boys are caring more about their appearance.

But at what cost? Many do not understand the long term psychological implications it can have on them in later life. A Growing Problem takes a gritty look at the dangers of anabolic steroids, with interviewees ranging from suicide bereft family member to psychology and medical experts.
