The January transfer window is in its’ final week and AFC Bournemouth are still very much active in the market.
Scott Parker has made it clear he wants at least 3 new players in before the end of the window. Here is a round-up of the news.
Per @kristemple, AFC Bournemouth are making progress in their interest in Tom Lawrence.
The 28-year-old Welsh midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season. As a result the Cherries will hope they can pick him up at a cut price.
There are complications however, due to Derby being run by administrators, negotiations could prove to be challenging.
🍒 TRANSFER UPDATE (1/3)
• I understand #AFCB are making progress in their efforts to sign Tom Lawrence from #DCFC. Has other suitors, but #AFCB well placed.
Process not straightforward, with administrators currently running Derby.

AFC Bournemouth are also believed to be edging closer to a deal for Cardiff City striker Kieffer Moore, @alex_crook reports.
The 29-year-old Wales international was a target earlier in the window, but the £10 million price tag had put the Cherries off.
However the Cherries may have negotiated down to around £3 million, With Cardiff expecting him to leave.
As per @kristemple #AFCB are inching closer to a deal with #CardiffCity for Kieffer Moore. Cardiff are resigned to him leaving and I would expect this to get done between now and Monday. Would be a sensible addition for the Cherries and offer then an alternative option up front.

@J_Tanswell reports that Scott Parker’s men have also had a series of bids rejected for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Joe Rothwell.
The bids are believed to be in the region of £2 million, however they have not met Tony Mowbrays valuation. The player also has 6 months left on his contract.

Understood Blackburn refuse to rule out selling out Joe Rothwell, despite #afcb‘s latest £2 million bid being rejected.
No proposal has yet met Rovers’ valuation – question is whether Bournemouth will raise their offer.https://t.co/NUBv7F6mAd

Cherries interest in Peterborough wideman Siriki Dembele has been temporarily cooled. The Peterborough chairman confirmed the bids earlier in the week.
Dembele was left out of the squad against Birmingham City on Tuesday night, with manager Darren Ferguson claiming it was as a result of a back problem.
Parker’s men have now won only 3 matches in 12 games. So there is sure to be more action at the Vitality stadium as the Cherries look to bolster their squad further.
Reaction to come.
