Dorset Police is appealing for anyone with information about a fail-to-stop collision in Dorchester in December last year.
The incident was reported at around 1.10pm on Tuesday 21 December 2021, when a collision occurred involving a stationary silver Mercedes and a silver or grey Mini Clubman in the car park outside Parkhouse Pet Supplies on the Marabout Industrial Estate.
The driver of the Mini failed to stop at the scene and drove out of the car park without leaving any details.
After checking CCTV footage of the area, Police Constable Dave Ash, of West Dorset police, said he has failed to identify the Mini.
He said: “I am appealing to anyone who has seen a vehicle matching the description given with possible damage since the date of the incident to please come forward.
“I would also urge the driver involved to do the right thing and contact Dorset Police so we can take your account of what happened.”
