Poole Town were beaten 2-1 by Hartley Wintney on a cold evening in the Southern League Premier South last night.
The Dolphins went into half time one goal up following a strike from defender Will Spetch, as he took his tally to eight goals for the season.
However they couldn’t hold on, as two late goals from Hartley Wintney secured the three points.
Having been beaten 3-2 at Hendon at the weekend, this is the third time this season the Dolphins have seen themselves suffer back to back league defeats after losing to Hayes & Yeading and Truro City in October, and then Weston-super-Mare and Yate Town in November.
They seemed to have catapulted themselves into a good position, winning their first two games this year, but remain ninth and four points outside of the playoffs.
Tom Killick will no doubt be looking for a reaction from his players as they look ahead to their home league game against Swindon Supermarine on Saturday.
