The vaccine rollout in the United Kingdom – a timeline

This timeline shows how the UK government introduced the vaccine into the country and whether or not the vaccination programme has proved to be a success. 

So far there are three different types of vaccines on offer to the UK public, the Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford Astra-Zeneca and Moderna vaccine.
 
The public, including football players, can also now receive two jabs plus a booster vaccination – to help further protect themselves against the virus.
