AFC Bournemouth have dropped from 6th to 7th in the Premier League after last night’s victory for Chelsea against Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
The blues won 3-1 courtesy of goals from Tosin Adarabiayo, Marc Cucurella and Noni Madueke.
A dominant second half display was needed to secure victory however, with Matt Doherty equalising for the away side after goalkeeper Robert Sanchez spilled the ball in the box.
Trevoh Chalobah also impressed on his first start on his Chelsea return as the blues made it back into the Champions League places, to the detriment of AFC Bournemouth.
Vitor Pereira’s Wolves remain pointless in 2025 as they sit one place above the relegation zone.
