Flytipping is becoming a national worry as it is on a significant increase all around the country.

The act of flytipping is when people are dumping their rubbish illegally on public or private land.

In Bournemouth, charity shops on Old Christchurch Road have been the targets for people dumping their waste and rubbish in bags pretending as if they are donations.

Linda Tramontini from the British Red Cross and Beverly Neville from the Samaritans share their accounts of flytipping in the front of their shops.

Buzz News reporter George Heal caught up with them to hear how bad the flytipping is in the town centre.

Bournemouth Borough Council says that if you see anyone flytipping or have seen any rubbish that has been dumped then please get as much information as you can down and report it to them as it is the council’s responsibility to clear it up from public places.
