A vote to drop child refugee protections from the Brexit Bill has been supported by all Dorset MPs.
Unaccompanied children will not be reunited with family members living in the UK with the new change in law.
The pledge to support child refugees was included in the previous Brexit Bill but was removed after the landslide Tory win in the latest election.
Charity ‘Safe Passage’ have warned that refugee children could be at more risk from Boris Johnson’s “dangerous” decision.
Beth Gardiner-Smith, CEO of Safe Passage said: “Children with relatives in the UK should not be surviving alone in camps and carparks in Europe, or pushed into the hands of people smugglers because safe, legal route to reach their family are shut down.”
And the @UKChange petition keeps on growing – another 10k signatures in less than a day, bringing current total to 214k ?

The Government says it is still dedicated to protect refugee families.
Safe Passage argue the decision “does nothing but spread panic and send a dangerous signal to families and child refugees”.
Safe Passage campaign and help child refugees to access legal routes to safety.
Children being unable to reunite with relatives in the UK is of great concern to the charity and 95% of the cases they support surround this issue.
Labour and Liberal Democrats have urged Conservative MPs to rebel against the Primeminister’s change in the law.
Despite this push by opposing parties the amendment to the withdrawal agreement bill was heavily defeated by a majority of 96 (348 votes to 252).
