Police are seeking information about a New Year’s Day assault when a woman was kicked by another woman outside Branksome Liberal Club.

Dorset Police said: “At 1.40am on Wednesday 1 January 2020 it was reported that an altercation occurred in the car park of Branksome Liberal Club on Salisbury Road. A woman – aged in her 50s – was then approached from behind by another woman who began to kick her to the ground on the road outside the club.

“The offender is described as aged in her early 20s, around five feet seven inches tall, of slim build and with long, dark, curly hair. She was wearing a polo neck jumper and tartan skirt.”

Police say the woman sustained slight concussion and bruising as a result of the assault.

Police Constable Cara Bradley, of Dorset police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and are making enquiries to identify the woman responsible.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55200000284.
