Former rough sleeper, Shane Cole, set up Feed Up Warm Up in 2018 to provide resources and help for the homeless community.

After coming out of the care system at 17, and spending the months over Christmas homeless, Shane set up the charity to support those in a similar situation to himself.

The charity, originally based in Hitchin, now has outreach teams covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire- running drop-in centres providing toiletries, food, clothing, and support from talking experts to over 120 people a week.

Feed Up Warm Up gives financial support to help vulnerable people find housing as well as CV writing programmes to help those get back into work.

Buzz spoke with Stephen to find out more about Feed Up Warm Up’s work, and how they’re helping to give homeless people a second chance at a life off the streets.
