Ringwood Town take on Romsey Town in the Wessex League on Tuesday night but will be without three key players due to injury.

Coming in off the back of two draws, the last of which was a hard-fought 2-2 draw with league leaders Andover New Street, Ringwood’s manager is optimistic of the teams chances despite facing another “tough” test.

Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “Its going to be another tough game. There a decent team and they have some great individual players up front especially.

“Hopefully we can take the confidence from Saturday’s game into that game on Tuesday.”

Ringwood Town currently sit 13th in the table but the recent draws to Andover and Ash United mean the club have started 2023 unbeaten.

In terms of team news, defenders Callum Horton and Charlie Hitchings are sidelined alongside striker Lee Vint.

Listen to the Ringwood manager on his team’s injury list here:

Victory for Ringwood could lift the side back into the top half of the table if Millbrook lose away at Hamworthy Recreation.

The game kicks off at 7.45 at Ringwood Hub Community Stadium.
