A collision between two vehicles causing a “standstill” around Ashley Cross on the junction of Commercial Road and Station Road.
According to Dorset Police, the two cars collided around 12:17 pm today (January 25). Emergency services are currently at the scene.

Due to a multi-vehicle accident, the northbound lanes of the A338 Wessex Way are closed and congested from Queens Park South Drive (Boscombe Junction) to the A3060 Castle Lane East (Cooper Dean Roundabout).
Traffic jams are being avoided in favour of the Iford Bridge construction. There are reportedly nine automobiles involved, which is affecting traffic heading towards Hurn.

At 8:09 this morning (January 25), Bournemouth’s Craigmoore Avenue was the scene of a vehicle theft, which was reported to Dorset Police.
The same vehicle was engaged in many collisions along the A338 near to the Cooper Dean Roundabout at about 8:35am.
A further report that a car had been stolen from Tyrell Gardens and fled in the direction of Jewell Road from the Dorset Police.
On the A31, the car was discovered, and the driver was arrested and sent to the hospital for treatment.
Road closures are being implemented to give emergency services enough time to handle the situation responsibly.

There are heavy congestions on the A338 near Bournemouth following a crash this morning (January 25). The crash happened between the Boscombe Junction and the Cooper Dean Roundabout.
The A31 is still experiencing delays as one lane remains closed on the westbound carriage way just before the Burnley turn off and Poulner Hill – delays are expected as work on fixing a broken water pipe continue.

A Met Office sent out severe cold weather alerts which will be in force until Friday (January 27).
It’s a foggy and icy morning in Dorset with temperatures at 1 degree Celsius at an all time low and 7 degree Celsius at the highest. Winds are running around 10mph.
